Ever get the feeling that you've dodged a bullet?
Yeah, so do I. Even almost two years after the fact.
I know I shouldn't look, but it's like watching a very slow train wreck.

Despite the presentation anxiety, I'm really looking forward to this weekend. I always enjoy meeting distant friends for the first time, and I could use some time off.

In other news:
- Presentation: continues apace. I don't think I'll be giving that dry run today after all, but I'll live.
- Massive overload of homework: mostly taken care of. Have you ever wanted a Python implementation of the batch perceptron algorithm? If so, you can find one here.
- Mood: generally evened out from this past weekend. It is scary how quickly I become a complete jerk when I'm stressing out; that's something I thought I had mostly fixed, and must keep a closer eye on.
- Microsoft internship: is not happening this summer. C'est la vie; besides, it's going to be a complicated enough summer as it stands. They want me to come interview again next year, so that's fine. I was pretty bummed for about a day there, but, eh, one can't really miss what one never really had.
- Cat: just drooled on my leg. Ew.
- Left elbow: can stop hurting any minute now, kthxbye.
