Wikipedia's explanations of various things having to do with complexity theory are really quite good.
mycroftxxx, you might be interested to know that today we're supposed to hear back on whether we get to go to Michigan in early May to present the game-theoretic analysis of the pidgin-modelling thingy you dropped in my ear last November. Bob found a kickass (if hard-to-use) agent-based platform called Swarm, we kicked around ideas until a reasonable noncooperative bimatrix game shaped up, Tris and Rob are implementing it in code, Bob's doing the math, I'm writing the paper, it's pretty cool.
R I G H T N O W S H E I S G E T T I N G O N W I T H H E R L I F E .
I'm going to celebrate the acceptance of our creolisation project as a poster at SwarmFest by doing my laundry, kicking back on the couch with an ice-cold Leinie's while I read Kevin Mitnick's The Art of Deception, and see how many thousands of digits of e I can get Python to calculate.
